NOMINATION PROCESS:   

Complete a Connecticut Rising Star (formerly Super Juniors) Nomination Form for each of your players. 
Access the form by clicking here - (Nomination access opens Tuesday, May 21st)
It will ask for your password, which was e-mailed to you.
You will receive an email confirmation for each nominee.

IMPORTANT: All fields must be completed! You will need all the contact information from each player
including phone, home address, email address and US Lacrosse membership # before you start! 

Please make sure each of your nominees gets the Rising Stars Athlete's Letter which was also e-mailed to you.

Nomination deadline is Monday, June 3, 2019 – No exceptions.

The CT Chapter of US Lacrosse is pleased to host its annual Connecticut Girls Rising Stars Lacrosse Game showcasing selected sophomores (Class of 2021) and juniors (Class of 2020) from throughout the state.

The key dates are:

            Tryout - Connecticut Rising Stars (formerly Super Juniors)

                          Monday, June 10th
                           5:00 pm to 8:30 pm
                           at Cheshire Academy, 10 Main Street, Cheshire, CT 06410                                             

Game - Connecticut Rising Stars (formerly Super Juniors)

                         Thursday, June 13th
                         5:30 pm to 7:00 pm
                         at Cheshire Academy, 10 Main Street, Cheshire, CT 06410
                                                    

This event is designed to help the recruiting process of players who are serious about playing college lacrosse,
and who you feel have the ability to play at the next level.  
Please nominate one to five* exceptional players to try out for Rising Stars who meet the following criteria:

1)         Must be a full-time Connecticut resident (can attend out of state school)

2)         Must be entering their junior/senior year of high school respectively

3)         If repeating their Sophomore/Junior Year, player must not have been nominated for the Rising Stars previously.

4)         Must be a member of US Lacrosse when the nomination form is sent in. Players can join online   at www.uslacrosse.org

5)         If nominated, player must agree to show up at the tryouts on June 10th. Fixed team rosters will be  given to college coaches so any absent players will affect the selection process negatively.

6)         48 players will be selected for the two Connecticut Rising Stars teams of 24 each.  Teams will be randomly selected by position….we play 2 extended time halves of lacrosse….all players will play one full half of lacrosse. 

* Any requests for additional players must be submitted to the Rising Star Committee before entering their nominations or notifying athletes.  If allowed, the head coach must be present at the Rising Stars tryout Monday, June 10th to assist with the evaluations.
