Present: Present: Phil Schneider, Rich Heritage, Mike Scalan, Matt Glaser, Drew McElroy, Lindsey Jardine, Sean Cole, Ian Knechtle, Caitlyn Hinchey, Mitch Felton, Kim Bandak, Joe Caruso, Al Divincentis, Tina Crispens, Paul Weiland, Rosie Flammang

Meeting called to order at 6:45pm

·        Review of meeting minutes from January 13, 2015 meeting – no further discussion

·        Facility Tour of Chapter 126 by Paul Weiland

·        Committee Meetings

o   Communications

§  Discussion to update and maintain social media. Drew will work with Caitlyn and Matt.

§  Discussion to update and maintain website. Randy, Phil and Matt will work on improvements.

o  Coaches Education and Events

§  Discussion about upcoming CEPs and mechanics of planning for these events

§  Discussion about upcoming Youth Lacrosse Coaches Clinic. Ideas for presenters and coaches’ give-aways

§  Ryan also discussed implementation and resources for new Lacrosse Athlete Development Model (LADM) that US Lacrosse is developing.

o   Sportsmanship

§  Discussion about PCA programs and planning future PCA clinics. Two clinics in Spring/Summer and two clinics in Fall.

o   Sponsorship/Fundraising

§  Mitch and Al will work on developing guidelines for sponsorship/partnership agreements

§  New partnership agreement with Dick’s Sporting Goods for $2500

·        CT Chapter Allocation

o   Budget request for $37,100

o   US Lacrosse approval for $30,000

o   Grants received: $500 for Chapter Recognition and $1500 for Diversity and Inclusion

o   Partnership – Dick’s Sporting Goods for $2500

o   Need to reduce budget by $2600

o   Revised budget due by March 31^st

·        CT Chapter Youth Coaches Clinic

o   Phil updated on Coaches’ Clinic. Day and site are secured. List of presenters in being developed

o   CT Chapter Board members should make an effort to attend and help to facilitate the clinic.

·        CT Chapter Day of Giving – no discussion on this agenda item

·        Meeting Decisions and Points of Action

o   Committee Meetings

§  Communications – develop plan to update social media and website

§  Coaches Education – contact presenters for coaches clinic and distribute flyer to local lacrosse organizations

§  Sportsmanship – identify areas for PCA clinics

o   Budget Revision due by March 31^st
